FalconPrep for counselors

The repetitive half of the job, done before you sit down.

Building a first-pass list, chasing deadlines, and re-checking which school wants which essay is work software is good at. Knowing which reach is worth a student’s one binding application is not. FalconPrep does the first so you have more of the hour for the second.

Are you trying to replace me?

No — and we would be bad at it. FalconPrep does not know that a student went quiet in October, or which of two essays sounds like them, or that a family will not say out loud that cost is the deciding factor. It produces the draft and the deadlines. The judgment, and the relationship it rests on, is the part we are not attempting.

What you get

Every student in one roster

Open any student and see exactly what they see — their list, their essays, their deadlines. Counselors see the students assigned to them; admins see the whole practice.

A defensible first-draft list

Reach, target and safety with the admission math shown per school, plus the reasoning behind each pick. It is a starting point for your conversation, not a replacement for it — you will disagree with some of it, and that is the useful part.

Edits that are attributed, not silent

Correct a GPA or a test score and the change appears on the student's own dashboard with your name and the date. Nothing you do happens behind their back.

Essay reviews without rewriting

Students send you a draft when they want a read. You comment in their Google Doc and send your read back — FalconPrep never edits the writing, so the words stay theirs and the work stays honest.

Deadlines you stop chasing

Every round, every programme deadline, per student. The tracker holds what is due and when, so the check-in is about the application rather than about the calendar.

An audit trail by default

Every view and every edit is recorded against the person who made it. For minors’ data, "who looked at this" matters as much as "who changed it".

How a practice gets set up

  1. 1. Tell us about your practice — how many students, and what you want to stop doing by hand.
  2. 2. We set up your organization and add your counselors.
  3. 3. Your students sign up and you assign them. Each one gets a month of full access to start.

Start with a conversation

We set up each practice by hand, so the first step is a call rather than a sign-up form. Bring a student you are stuck on and we will build their list on the call.
