Terms of Service
Last updated: 2026-06-08
Welcome to FalconPrep (the “Service”), operated by FalconPrep, Inc. (a Delaware corporation). By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.
What FalconPrep is
An informational tool that surfaces college recommendations and writing scaffolds based on publicly-available data (IPEDS, College Scorecard, individual schools' admissions pages) and machine-learning models trained on aggregated outcome data. Recommendations are advisory only.
What FalconPrep is not
- Not a guarantee of admission. We do not promise — and cannot promise — that you'll be admitted to any school we recommend, nor that our admit-probability estimates will match the outcome. Schools alone decide whom to admit.
- Not a licensed counselor. FalconPrep is not a substitute for a high-school counselor, an independent educational consultant (IEC), a financial-aid adviser, or a lawyer. For high-stakes decisions, consult a qualified professional in addition to using our recommendations.
- Not a school endorsement. We have no affiliation with the schools we recommend; nothing on the site implies a school endorses us or vice versa.
- Not legal, tax, or financial advice. Cost figures and aid eligibility are estimates from public data and may be wrong. Verify with each school's financial-aid office before you commit.
AI-generated content
Personal-statement drafts, per-school reasoning, ED/EA strategy bullets, and application-tracker prompts are generated by large language models. They can be wrong, omit important context, or hallucinate facts. You are responsible for reviewing every AI-generated artifact before using it in an application. If a recommendation cites a number or program, verify it directly with the school before relying on it.
Your account and conduct
- You must be 13+ to create an account; under-18 users need a parent or guardian.
- Don't share your account with people outside your immediate family.
- Don't reverse-engineer, scrape, or attempt to extract our prompts or models.
- Don't submit fake or fraudulent profile data (e.g. inflated GPA / SAT) to game the engine.
- We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, abuse our refund policy, or stress the service in ways that hurt other users.
Service as-is
We provide the Service “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind — express or implied — including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We don't warrant the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or 100% accurate. Numbers may be stale; admission policies change year to year. Verify everything before you apply.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, FalconPrep is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including lost admissions, lost scholarships, lost financial-aid eligibility, or any other loss arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim is capped at the amount you actually paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
You agree to indemnify and hold FalconPrep harmless from third-party claims arising from your use of the Service, your submission of false data, or your reliance on our output in lieu of professional advice.
Payments and refunds
Plan pricing, billing terms, and refund eligibility are documented in our Refund Policy. Charges are processed by Stripe; we don't store full payment-card numbers.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms when the product changes. Material changes will be emailed to your account address with 14 days' notice. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by California law (without regard to conflict-of-laws rules). Disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts of San Francisco County, California. If any provision is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
